Obituary of Linda Lee Saulnier
Linda Lee Saulnier, 59 of Digby passed away on September 28, 2021 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Richard Earl and Amelia Minnie Purdy.
Linda enjoyed taking walks on the beach looking for beach glass or digging for clams. She also appreciated simply going for a drive with no destination or relishing in the time she spent with her cherished family and friends. Hall-o-ween was her favorite time of year, the dressing up and spookiness, the delight on the children’s faces when trick-or-treating. She could not help herself from helping all those she could.
She was a kind, sweet, caring, and inspiring woman. Loved by all who knew her and could not help getting caught up in her contagious smile and laugh. With her kind and inspiring words, she was able to help many people. She gave hope and helped anyone in need push through some of their toughest times.
Linda never gave up on family or friends.
Linda will be lovingly missed by her companion of 30 years, Chester Thomas; daughter, Angela (Terry) and son, Donald (Kim); grandchildren, Sam, Declan, and Rayna; brothers Mark (Melanie), Dwayne (Sue), Neil, and Andy (Nathania); sister Lisa (Frank); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A service may be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
