Obituary of Karen Elaine Mansfield

Karen “Molly” Elaine Mansfield, 70 of Bear River, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2021 in her home with her loving husband by her side. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Phyllis (Fraser) Trimper.

Molly was a very special person, who absolutely loved people. She was kind and caring, and left each person with such a positive feeling.

To know Molly, was to feel appreciation and warmth.

She is survived by her husband of 50-years, Gordon; son, Brad (Cheri), Wawota, SK; daughter, Jenny, Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Makalia, Madison, Ashley and Dylan; great-grandchild Carson and Westin.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Molly’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
