Obituary of Ann Marie Boutilier
Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Marie Johnson, 71 of Kentville, in Evergreen Home for Special Care, on October 26 2021. Born in Kentville on April 3, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Rosalie Johnson.
Raised in Kentville, Ann enjoyed Sunday drives, chatting with friends and family, dancing, listening to music, and eating her favourite meals of lobster, fish and chips, and Raupie Pie.
Ann was down to earth, had a great smile, was good-natured, and very much enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by her children, Carla Moore, Leo Boutilier, Lenny (Tobi) Boutilier; granddaughter, Talia Boutilier; sisters, May Melanson, Theresa Davidson, Elizabeth Bigelow, Rosalie Davidson; brother Leo, and twin brother Joseph.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her brother, Albert, and sister, Bertha Cosgrove.
We would like to thank the entire staff at Evergreen Home for going above and beyond in showing our mother great love, care, and compassion.
There will be no funeral service to honour Ann’s final wish, to simply go home. Memorial donations may be made to the Evergreen Home for Special Care or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
