I can attest to the kindness and generosity of this family. We lived across the street from Carolyn’s mother and bought her house, with her holding the second mortgage because she wanted us to have the house, and we had very little money. Shortly before her mother died Carolyn called and told us not to make any more payments, and when her mother died the mortgage would die with her. We lived there for 35 years and were forever grateful for having had this start. People like this don’t often come along in one’s lifetime.
