Obituary of Ruby Elaine Osborne
Ruby “Elaine” Osborne, 94 of New Minas, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021 in the Evergreen Home for Special Care. Born March 15, 1927 in Stellarton, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Doris (Walton) Grealey.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Beals, Greenwood; Linda (Bob) Taylor, New Minas; Marilyn Baltzer, Greenwood; sons, Robert (Bonnie) Bezanson, Greenwich; Steve Bezanson, Waterville; David Bezanson, Waterville; ten grandchildren; sisters Joyce Munroe, New Glasgow; Shirley Grealey, New Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was predeceaced by her husband, Arthur Osborne, Shelburne; son Donald Bezanson, Halifax; sisters Vivian Isenot, New Glasgow; June O’Hanley, New Glasgow; brothers, Dougles; Leanord; Fred; and Billy.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service by family request. At a later date, Elaine’s cremated remains will be taken to Shelburne. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
