Obituary of Anne Louise Field

Please share a memory of Anne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Sadly, we announce the passing of our dear wife and mother, Anne Field who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the Dartmouth General Hospital at the age of 76. Born August 22, 1945 in Yarmouth, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Joyce Lawrence of Winona Ontario.

Anne was a kind, thoughtful, and loving wife and mother. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, other skill puzzle games, and the online game “Wordle”, a popular time and skill challenging game. Sometimes she would stay up at night just to play Wordle when the new game showed up shortly after midnight. The thing she enjoyed most was time with her family, and time at Killarney. Anne was a long-time member of Woodlawn United Church where she taught Sunday school.

Anne is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Burnell Field; daughter, Kelly (Jonathan); son, Chris (Jill); and her sisters, Faith and Barbara.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Sandy Nelson.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Dartmouth General Hospital as well as the team at the Dartmouth General Dialysis unit.

Respecting Anne’s wishes, we will celebrate Anne’s life at a Memorial Reception in the Woodlawn United Church Hall on Friday June 17th, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Woodlawn United Church or Dartmouth General Dialysis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
