Obituary of Janette Ann Leona Carpenter
Please share a memory of Janette to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Janette Ann Leona Carpenter, 53 of Kentville (formerly from Aylesford), passed away peacefully on May 26, 2022 in the comfort of her own home. Born in Picton, ON, on November 20, 1968, she was the daughter of Janette Moore (Meister) of Aylesford (formerly of New Ross) and the late Francis Moore.
She was passionate about helping others, working for nearly 20 years at PeopleWorx, where she touched the lives of many throughout those years.
She shared with us her passion of gardening, home DIY, and going fast - and was nicknamed Janetti Andretti by those close to her. She will be missed by her fluffy companion, Stella.
“Our mom was a kind, compassionate, and selfless person, through all of her struggles. We will remember her for her strength, courage, humour, and the fierce and devout love for her family. Our lights have dimmed with the loss of hers.”
She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Janette is survived by her husband, Anthony "Scott" Carpenter, Kentville; her daughter, Stephanie (Kirk West) Carpenter, Kentville; son Gregory (Sarah Woodworth) Carpenter, Kentville; granddaughter Jillian Carpenter, Kentville; brothers, Daniel Moore, Yarmouth; Michael Moore, Liverpool; Patrick Moore, Aylesford; Steven (Bev) Moore, Lower Sackville; Timothy Moore, Aylesford; Roger Moore, Aylesford; Brian Moore, Aylesford; as well as her nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Janette has gone to be reunited with her father, Francis Joseph Moore.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation, service, or interment. Flowers welcome, she loved them and nothing would make her happier than us surrounded in flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
