Obituary of Michael Lightfoot
Michael Lightfoot, 65 of Waterville, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2022, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Berwick, he is the son of the late Harry and Winnifred (Thompson) Lightfoot.
Michael has many different jobs over the years, but carpentry was his passion. His great love was being self employed working with glass and upholstery. He enjoyed music and it was rare to see Michael without his headphones on for hours at a time listening to his favorite tunes. He also loved to play pool, relishing in the times he would beat his opponents. On top of everything, Michael enjoyed telling a great joke, he was known for having an awesome sense of humour.
He loved to laugh
Michael is survived by his sisters, Nancy Bennett, Terry Doherty, and Elaine Avery; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michael is predeceased by brother, Eric Lightfoot; sisters, Phyllis Feeney and Norma McPhee.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook, interment in the Berwick Cemetery will follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
