It was incredibly sad to hear of Connie's passing! She attended several of my craft shows as a loved vendor with her doll clothes and accessories. Last Christmas I made a large purchase of these for my two precious granddaughters. She and I shared the same sense of humor and enjoyed many conversations over social media video. She was an amazing and courageous woman! Thoughts and prayers are with you all!

So sorry to read this. She was an amazing woman through this disease. Always upbeat and going to beat it. I will miss our conversations as I delivered lots of material and notions to her when the2fidgeteers could not use it. It was always interesting what she would make with it. May her talents continue with her grandchildren as she was teaching them to sew as well.

In a word, Connie was fierce!! Whether it be in the way she shared her opinion or the way she gave of her time, her exceptional talent at sewing or in the way she loved those she cared about. If she liked you, there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for you. She did a lot for me and my boys over the years and will never be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences to all who were lucky enough to have known her, but especially to Percy, Miranda, Jessica and her beloved grandchildren.

My sincere condolences to Percy, and Connie’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Connie’s sharp wit and “tell it like it is” attitude. She was a wonderful seamstress who worked miracles in our uniform shop and the cadet stores at King’s-Edgehill School. And many prom dress crises were averted thanks to Connie and her sewing machine. Rest In Peace.

It is so heart breaking to say that we have lost, a most wonderful, loving, spirited woman.
Connie Lorr my friend, I will miss you endlessly.
How will I survive without all of our Grandma talks?
You were the best, for "talking" me home while I drove through storms no matter what the hour or keeping me awake and checking I was home safe. I will miss our clothes fittings that lasted 3 hours at a time, our chatting online endlessly, climbing snow hills at the age of (ahem over 50ish) and laughing out asses off endlessly about everything and anything we chose.
You taught me to always be myself and those who don't like the real me can blatantly f&ck off. I always loved your courage and strength. Your endless love and kindness, always showed through, your spitfire spirited sarcasm and humour, those who didn't understand it were really missing out.
When I moved back to Windsor and we bumped into each other we were immediately friends and laughing...as we always did. I love how, we were always the same, no matter how much time passed.
When I brought you my wedding dress and explained my vision, you didn't even flinch, you saw my vision and helped me create my dream dress. When I refused to pay 200.00 a meter for the black and white floral organza, you came up with a way to make my black and white vision work and tirelessly made it happen. Hand dying applique over and over and over until it was black enough. We changed the vision slightly but created a beautiful dress together. How many wonderful hours we spent sitting and sewing those darned applique on and figuring out how to disassemble the dress and recreate it. How much laughter and swearing we did! I loved it.
You recently told me when I was sick and couldn't visit that we would do it soon and that you were feeling pretty good and not to worry. He had a huge hug. Little did I know that, that would not happen. You were always protecting others feelings, holding their hearts dear.
My friend, I cannot say how I will miss you, there are not enough words.
I love you, my dear Connie, I adore and will miss you so.
My condolences to Percy Edwards and her girls, Grandchildren family and friends. Much hugs and love to you all. <3

So very sorry to read of Connie's passing. Sincere condolences to all of her family. I taught Connie in Grade 5 and Grade 6 at Falmouth Elementary. I liked talking to Connie and glad I had the opportunity to have a brief chat with her a month ago.
Last year Connie took on one of her sewing challenges, when we asked if she might be able to repair our winter pool cover. It was no easy task, but she accepted the challenge and did an outstanding job. She was a talented seamstress and genuine person. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Cherish your memories.
Sending kind thoughts and deepest sympathy,
Debbie (DeWolfe) and Phillip Scott
