Obituary of Phyllis Erma Nejrup
Phyllis Erma Nejrup, 83 of Wilmont, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2023 in the Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Medford and Marion Lutz.
Phyllis made everyone in her life feel special and ensured they knew they had a special place in her heart. She spent many hours in the kitchen preparing food and having heart to heart talks with her friends and family. Phyllis loved her pets and adored all the children in her life. Her smile would light up a room and her contagious laughter would put you in a good mood.
“She loved to sing and dance to any music with a beat, and she gave that gift to each of us. You are forever in our hearts, we love you!”
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Richard (Valerie Debry) and Peter (Sherryl); daughters, Nicoline (Chuck) Baker, Carolyn (Jason) Hudson, and Robin (Chris Styles); brothers, Dennis (Muriel) Lutz and Russell (Helena) Lutz; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter LeRoy Nejrup; sisters, Noreen (Roy) Chute, Diane (Eugene) Davis, and Carolyn Lohnas; brothers, Medford (Helen) Lutz and Gary Lutz; great-grandson, Connor; and great-granddaughters Starr and Meadow.
A Visitation will take place 12 – 1 pm on January 17, 2023 with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 pm in the Morristown Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
