James “Jim” W. Siemens, age 79 of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023, in the Orchard Court Shannex, Kentville. He was the son of the late Jack and Dorothy Siemens.

Jim was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 39-years, loving every minute he spent serving Canada. He was also an avid carpenter and built many furniture pieces for his home and family. Jim and his wife, Elmida, made many great memories together traveling throughout Canada and the United States on their motorcycle.

Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54-years, Elmida; step-children, George, Vicky, Addie, Jimmy, Kevin, and Perry; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by sisters, Carol and Sharon; and granddaughter, Chelsi.

Cremation has taken place and by request there will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
