Mary Ann Catherine Supple, age 91 of Aylesford, passed away on April 26, 2023, in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born November 6, 1931 in Lafleche, SK, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Walberga Klein.

When Mary Ann was 16-years old she moved to Edmonton, AB. She joined the RCAF in 1954 where she served until 1958. While serving in St. Hubert, QC she met her husband, Ernie; they were married May 4, 1956 and would have celebrated 66-years together this year. After 10-years in St. Hubert’s they moved to Comox, BC, where they lived with their two young girls for 11-months before relocating in 1967 to Greenwood, NS, and eventually settling in Aylesford in 1971.

Mary Ann completed her GED and took an accounting course by attending night school at West Kings High School. She began working at Lone Pine Farm, in Berwick, using her accounting credentials eventually moving to the egg room where she worked until she was 80-years of age.

“Mom impacted the life of many by her calm demeanor, a listening ear and sage advice. She had a strong work ethic, believed family came first and created a home children and grandchildren returned to often.”

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Ernie; daughters, Patricia and Deborah; grandchildren, Allyson and Kara Menzies, and Alexander Ryckman.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was predeceased by her brothers, Wilfred, Martin, and Eddie Klein.

The family would like to thank the paramedics, doctors, nurses and support staff at the Valley Regional Hospital for their kindness, care and compassion.
