Obituary of Natasha Dawn Taylor

Natasha Dawn Taylor, age 38 of Coldbrook, passed away on April 22, 2023, at the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Middleton on April 30, 1984, she was the daughter of Elfreda (Connell) Taylor and the late Derwin Taylor.

Natasha worked as a hairdresser in Berwick and New Minas, before becoming a daycare worker at several daycares in the Valley. She spent the last two years with the pre-primary program at St. Mary’s and Berwick Schools. Working as an Early Childhood Educator was a passion of Natasha’s and she loved every child in her care.

Natasha is survived by her mother, Elfreda; five children, Hannah, Braxton, Delaney, Grayson, and Nova; sister Shannon; and partner, Mike.

In addition to her father, Derwin, Natasha was predeceased by brothers, Matthew and Brandon.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Valley Regional Hospital, members of Emergency Health Services, Brent Rhynolds, and Karen Sanford for all their help and support.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to a Trust Fund for Natasha’s children.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
