Obituary of Charles Alexander MacKenzie

Charles “Mac” Alexander MacKenzie, age 74, of Digby passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023, in Tideview Terrace Nursing Home. He was the son of the late William Alfred MacKenzie and Beulah Pearl (Corkum) MacKenzie.

Mac was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and after leaving worked as a truck driver all over North America.

Mac is survived by his son, Nathan MacKenzie; granddaughter, Jade MacKenzie; and sister, Linda MacKenzie.

In addition to his parents, Mac was predeceased by his partner, Caroline Bedell Norwood.

At Mac’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or the Alzheimer’s  Society of Canada.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
