Lloyd Edward Duggan, age 67, of Kentville, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023, in the Valley Regional Hospital, surrounded by family. Born in Halifax on May 2, 1956, he was the son of the late Alan and Phyllis (Thompson) Duggan.
Lloyd worked for many years in property maintenance/management for: the County Fair Mall after his father Alan retired, several hotels in Nova Scotia as well as Prince Edward Island, MacKay Real Estate and JA MacKay Rentals, and Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education. He was a quiet (except for his whistle), thoughtful and caring person with a sense of humor and passion to make things better for anyone. Lloyd enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs; often headed back to PEI to sail, fish, camp and golf.
Lloyd will be remembered by his sister, Lisa (Ted) van Trigt; nieces, Ashley Crowell, and Emma Crowell (Chris Forrest); and Mister his cat.
Family visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service to be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2023, at Serenity Funeral Home, with a reception to follow; both at 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Peters Road Cemetery, Montague, PEI. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of Nova Scotia.
