Ronald Howard Watton Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing at home, of their brother and uncle, Ronald Howard Watton on August 4, 2023. Ronald was born on  February 2, 1956, to the late Howard and Isabelle (Mitton) Watton.


Ronald grew up in Millville and worked in the area all his life. He enjoyed tinkering with his tractors, chainsaws, and small engines. One of his greatest joy was when he was hunting and fishing. Ronald was also an avid dart player.


Ronald is survived by his siblings, Lloyd (Betty), Auburn; Mary (Jud Foster), Millville; Stanley (Rita), Greenwood Square; Marlene (Kenny Lohnes), Lawrencetown; Kenneth (Suzanne), Welsford; and David (Karen), Lawrencetown; as well as nieces and nephews, Shelley, Dawn, Anthony, Stephen, John, and Mitchell.


In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by niece, Shannon; and nephews Richard and Trevor.


Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on August 18, 2023, in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Memorial donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, Nova Scotia Lung Association, or charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
