Brian Watson Schofield, age 64 of North Alton, lost his battle with cancer on November 29, 2023, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.

Brian worked at the Irving in Berwick for several years before his health pushed him into early retirement. He was a music lover, and although he loved his old country music, Brian loved to watch his son, and namesake, play rock tunes. Brian and his son were like two peas in a pod, you would rarely see one without the other. When not listening to music, Brian could be found watching wrestling.

Brian is survived by his son, Brian; daughter, Amanda; love of his life, Diana; sisters, Jane (Eric) Arenburg; Marilyn (James) Arenburg; step-sons, Matthew (Kelly) and Nathaniel (Kristyn); step-grandsons, Riley, Todd, and Shane; step-great-grandson, Hudson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Brian was predeceased by his parents, Watson and Frances Schofield; as well as his sister, Deborah.

Thanks to the doctors and nurses on Medical B in the Valley Regional Hospital for all the care they gave to Brian. A special thank you to Jennifer Russell, who was with Brian and the family until his passing.

A Funeral Service open to family and friends, will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook, with Pastor Christine Bigelow officiating. There will be a reception after the Funeral Service, then the interment will be held in the Cambridge Station Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Cancer Patient Navigator Fund or Diabetes Canada.
