It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Fredericks Brown of New Minas on December 2, 2023 at the age of 71.

Donald loved the great outdoors and was an avid trapper back in the day. He also loved fishing and hunting.

Donald leaves behind his mother, Doris R. Brown, Steam Mill; brothers, Eric and Kevin, both of Steam Mill; Stanley (Sherry), Red Deer, Alberta; sisters, Donna (John) McCully, Billtown; Juliette (Glenn) Simpson, Halls Harbour; Marlene (Robbie) Kelly, Hortonville; Verneice (Terry) Hartt, New Minas; and Sylvia (Kevin) Smith, Centreville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his father, Harry M Brown; and brother, Douglas A Brown. There will be no visitation or services as his request

Cremation has taken place and in accordance to Donald’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
