Obituary of Anthony Lee Dixon

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anthony Lee Dixon, age 33 of Waterville, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2023. Born in Kentville, he was the son of Susan Louise Dixon of Waterville and the late Walter Freeman Miller of Windermere.

Anthony was a jack-of-all trades and was an avid handyman. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp. Anthony’s passion for racing, four-wheeling, off roading (with or without a four-wheel drive), and all things with a motor, was unmatched; he completely enjoyed  the need-for-speed.  His greatest love was for his sons and spending time with his family.

“Anthony had the biggest heart of gold and showed it to all who knew him.”

Anthony will be remembered by his mother, Susan Dixon, Waterville; grandmother, Priscilla Dixon, Waterville; twin sons, Damian and Dennis Kenneally, Harbourville; step-daughter, Lily Kenneally, Harbourville; brothers, Tracey Hiscoe, Edmonton, AB; Cody Dixon, Gaspereau; and Jessie Miller-Dixon, Waterville;  as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, Anthony was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Dixon; and paternal grandparents, Arnold and Pauline Miller.

The family would like to thank everyone who came together at this difficult time.

A Visitation will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 6:30 pm to  8:30 pm in the Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Berwick Cemetery. Following the Service, there will be  a Celebration of Life at the Windermere Community Hall (402 Windermere Rd., Windermere). Memorial donations in memory of Anthony may be given to the family for his sons, Dennis and Damian, or to Nova Scotia Mental Health and Addiction Services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
