Obituary of Kenneth Ralph Bustin

Kenneth Ralph Bustin died peacefully on February 19, 2024, in Berwick after a prolonged illness with Alzheimer disease. He was born in Yarmouth to the late Zella (Moses) and Victor Bustin on November 13, 1929.
Kenneth married June “Marie” Wedge and had two sons, Gary and Robin, of whom he was very proud. He worked as a mechanic in the “cotton mill” until its closure in 1991. He loved cars, dogs, his home in Hebron and walking with friends. He lived in Hebron until moving to Berwick in 2017.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Gary (Jennie Bishop) of Greenwich, and Robin (Jane Walsh) of Berwick; and grandchildren, John (Wendy Fraser), Ian (Sarah Padovani), Sean (MinJi Kim), Erin (Mark Laver), Kyle (Erica Legault), and Clare (Donald Pirie-Hay); great-grandchildren, Ana, Henry, Arthur, and Imogen Bustin, John Bustin, Nora and Mary Laver, Frederick Pirie-Hay, Diana Bustin, and Maisie Bustin-Legault; sisters, Carol Johnson (Wayne) and Doris Robicheau (Carl); many nieces and nephews; as well as his life-long friend Bill Canty.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Marie; his brother, Garth; and his sister, Ann Seely (Bruce).
