Ruby Jean Eddy (Thibodeau), the only child of the late Gordon and Pearl Thibodeau, was born on February 18, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant, Digby County.  Ruby passed away peacefully at Bradford Hall, Parkland Retirement Living on February 24, 2024.

Ruby is survived by daughters, Donna Martin and Marilyn Beatty; grandchildren, Mary-Jane Wells and Matthew Beatty; along with a great-grandson, Leo Wells.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Eddy; and her infant son in 1969.

A Funeral Service for Ruby will be held in the Kentville United Baptist Church on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Dr. David Bielby officiating and reception to follow. Interment will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill.  Donations in Ruby’s memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital or the Kentville United Baptist Church.
