Marguerite E. Underwood, 87, of Centreville, passed away in the Valley Regional Hospital on March 5, 2024.  Born in Indian Mountain, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Mayme (nee Steeves) and Harold Woodman.

Marguerite was employed in the transport industry for over 40 years.  She dedicated her life to the Lord, her family, and friends.  She loved playing the piano and singing hymns. She participated in Bible Study and enjoyed mentoring others.  A favorite event for Marguerite was attending the Atlantic Christian Ashram each summer where she made many life-long friends.  She loved baking, especially during the holidays.  There were always wonderful treats waiting for you at her home.  She was an avid crafter and enjoyed knitting mittens for her grandchildren.

Marguerite is survived by her four sons, Louis James, of Glenmont; Wayne (Trina), of Kentville; Kerry (Cheryl), of New Minas; and Paul (Sharlene) of Riverview, New Brunswick; her grandchildren, Jamie, Michael, Allison, Morgan, Candie, Carrie, and Ryland; her great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jensen, Zachary, Emma, Khloe, Stanley, Lola, Bea, Anika, and Case.

In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Ann; and brother, Everett.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Valley Regional Hospital, and the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) staff who often went above and beyond caring for Marguerite.
