Obituary of David Wayne Brown

Brown, David Wayne age 69 of Halifax passed away May 8, 2024.  Born in Middleton NS, he was the son of Lloyd and Connie Brown. Certified welder, Dave worked at the shipyards throughout the Maritimes for 25 years before joining Canadian Maritime Engineering (CME).  Dave cherished the love of family and friends.  He was a devoted father, proud brother, fun loving uncle and loyal friend.  Dave enjoyed playing cards, fishing tournaments, scenic drives, gardening, farming and he loved animals. Survived by partner Shelley Yakimchuk of 22 years, step-son Cory Giordani (Ottawa), daughter Cindy Brown (Halifax), brothers Lloyd Brown (Pam) Ontario, Bob Brown (Calgary), Wayne Brown (Susan) New Brunswick, sisters Linda Allen (Doug) Alberta, Sue Brown-Tyler Ontario, Katy Martin (Bill) Massachusetts, Nancy Brown

(Steve) Ontario, several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by brother-in-law Alan Tyler, father Lloyd Brown, mother Connie Brown, nephew Chris Martin.
