Obituary of Nicole Dawn Powell
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Dawn Powell, 32 of Middleton on May 27, 2024. Born in Kentville on July 17, 1991 she was the daughter of Richard Farris (Cassandra Campbell) and Linda Powell.
It’s not easy to sum up Nicole into just a few paragraphs, she was unique, kind, and someone who loved the strange and unusual. Nicole truly was a bright light in this world, she left a mark on the hearts of anyone who had the privilege to meet her. The epitome of a strong woman, Nicole was always there for those she cherished and knew how to make you feel seen and heard. Nicole always knew how to put a smile on your face when you needed it most. She accepted others for who they were and stood up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves. Nicole would be the first to welcome you with open arms and knew how to make you feel safe in her presence.
Nicole was an amazing mother, her children were always her main priority. She was a beloved fiancé, daughter, auntie, friend, and sister to those she adopted along the way as her “siblings”
“Nicole will be missed by all who knew her, the world is a little darker without her in it, she touched the lives of so many with her kindness and generosity. Nicole has left us far too soon, nevertheless her beautiful spirit will live on and she will never be forgotten”
In addition to her parents, Nicole is survived by her fiancé, Bradley Santos; daughter, Summer; son Keegan; uncles, James Farris, David (Michelle) Farris, Tim (Kate) Farris, Jerry Farris, and Willie (April) Powell; aunts Barb Haggerty, Edith (Jeff) Farris, Patricia Powell, Marie Farris; godparents, Phillip and Shari Henderson, many cousins, and her honorary brothers and sisters.
