Obituary of Joyce Weaver

Beverley “Joyce” Weaver, 100 passed away June 3, 2024, in the Windsor Elms Village for Continuing Care. Born February 27, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Fraser) Hubley.

Joyce had so many positive traits but what truly stood out was how much of a hard worker she was. She owned a mini farm with lots of animals but her favorite was her ponies and dogs. She was a member of the Annapolis Valley Pony Club.

Joyce had many friends, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Heather Anne Horne; grandaughter, Morgan-Steele Parsons; grandsons, Casey Weaver (Vicky Weaver) and, Tyler Horne; great-grandchildren, Hayley Weaver, Dominic Weaver, Aubreyanne Parsons and, Georgia Allen; as well as many nieces.

In addition to her parents Joyce was predeceased by her brother, Murray Hubley; and her sister, Shirley Allison.

There will be no service as per Joyce’s request. Memorial donations may be made to the CNIB or charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
