Obituary of Jacqueline Dale Bremner

             When the Queen is Happy, there is Peace in the Kingdom

Jacqueline Dale Bremner, 64 passed away on June 15, 2024, in Bridgewater, NS

Jackie was the social butterfly of her branch of the Bremner clan, always up for whatever devilry she and her friends could cook up from the time she was a young girl on the Commons up to recent years. 

Jackie had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel and travel she did … near and far with family and friends.  Her favorite trips though, were anywhere warm and we mean really warm.  Anything below 30 degrees Celsius was cold in her opinion.

Jackie is survived by her daughter Sabrina Avery (Justin Boutilier); her beloved grandchildren Alayah and Drayden; her mom Roxie Bremner; her ‘much older’ siblings John (Valerie), Christine (Garry Morash), Joanne, McDow, Sherry (David Broome); younger brother George (Shelley Rafuse); and many nieces and nephews.

Jackie had a kind heart, a smile brighter than the sun, and an infectious laugh.  She worked/volunteered for many causes over the years including Chester Fire Department Auxiliary, Pro Kids Golf and curling club fundraisers as well as the Royal Canadian Legion which all held special places in her heart. 

Jackie will be remembered and missed by anyone who crossed her path.

According to Jackie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service, but we will be gathering for a celebration of life upstairs at Chester Legion Branch 44 on Saturday, July 20 from 1-4 pm.  All are welcome to come and share their stories of fun, love, and adventures that were shared with Jackie over the years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).

As a memorial to Jackie, be kind, love your family and friends, hold them close, and maybe do a discreet kind deed for someone.
