Obituary of David Wilfred Carnell
David Wilfred Carnell -64, of New Minas, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2024. Born on March 2nd, 1960, in New Brunswick, he was the eldest son of the late Dave and Joyce (McInnis) Carnell, of Kentville.
David enjoyed many sporting activities including hockey, fishing, broomball and more recently Saturday poker with friends. He loved to travel, enjoying many trips with his friends and would hitchhike to various provinces with them and one memorable trip to Newfoundland and Labrador with his father. David was a long-time employee of Michelin Tire Plant in Waterville, retiring in 2015, making many life-time friends along the way. David was a loving and proud father. He was always there for his children, whether he was helping them prepare for life, going on family trips or offering advice.

David will be loving remembered by his former wife Krista Anderson and their children, Tommy (Jill) Carnell, Ontario, Tyler (Trina Buckley) Carnell of Kentville, Casandra Carnell of Bridgewater and Laura Llewellyn, brother Darrell (Heather Veinot) Carnell of Centreville, sister Debbie Carnell of Middleton; and 4 grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
