Obituary of Bruce Kempton Gould
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Kempton Gould, 68 of South Berwick, on August 6, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer in the Valley Regional Hospital surrounded by family. Born on September 29, 1955, in Berwick, Bruce was the son of the late Gerald Gould and Eunice Steadman.
Bruce is survived by his wife Mary Anne (Sherriffs) Gould; daughters Theresa (Jason) Amero and Brenda (Matthew) Gould; grandchildren Becca, Abigail and Nicolas; brothers Gregory and Martin; sisters Carolyn (Calvin) Boyde, Jane Bent, Ann Gould and Pam Schofield as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents.
The family of Bruce would like to give a special thanks to Dr. MacNeil, Dr. French, Dr. Rajaraman of the Dickson Center as well as the Doctors and Nurses at The VRH emerge and the staff at VON.
Another special thanks to Dr. Carly McLellan and Janet Welton for all they did for Bruce.
Following Bruce’s wishes, There will be no visitation or service held. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
