Jonah Nault

Obituary of Jonah Matthew Nault

Jonah Matthew Nault, age 21 of Hubley, tragically passed away on the 3rd of September 2024 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on the 12th of May 2003 to Darla and Gilles Nault.

Jonah had worked with the Youth Live program, he also worked at Steele Mitsubishi as an under coater and was about to start a new job with Mason's Auto Works NAPA AUTOPRO. He really enjoyed working on cars and especially loved working on his 2004 Ford Mustang. He had recently modified his car and was excitedly sharing with others his plans for the future of his Mustang. Jonah belonged to the Atlantic Topless Cruisers and he had recently started to meet with the Mustang Outlaws of Nova Scotia car group as well. He fit in so well and was accepted by all that he crossed paths with in these clubs. Jonah also enjoyed online gaming and had recently taken up an interest in podcasting.

In addition to his dad, Gilles, Jonah is survived by his brother Caleb, his grandmother Seneath Darrah, numerous aunts and uncles on both the Darrah and Nault families as well many other extended family members.

In Jonah's memory, donations can be made to the IWK Foundation at www.iwkfoundations.org. Jonah had spent time in the IWK mental health programs related to ADHD and some other challenges. While Jonah did have challenges, he always found a way to brighten the lives of those around him, especially in the car community.

Jonah will be missed by so many people.

A memorial cruise will be planned in the near future and announced through the Atlantic Topless Cruisers on Facebook. No visitation is scheduled as the cremation has already taken place. No Celebration of Life ceremony has been planned at this time as the family is still coming to terms with all that has happened with his sudden passing. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
