Obituary of Linda Marilyn Corbett

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Marilyn Corbett (Warren), 66 of Cannan, in the Valley Regional Hospital on September 14, 2024, due to Heart Failure. Born in Halifax, Linda was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Warren.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend to many, she loved animals and will be missed by her fur babies, Brutus the dog as well as her two cats, Kitty and Bella. Linda enjoyed working and for several years she was employed at the fish plant in Canso until 2000 when she moved to the Kentville area, where she held many retail positions, until retiring from Walmart in April 2024 after 15 years of employment.

Linda is survived by her husband of 28 years, William “Billy” Corbett; sons Joseph “Joey” Snow of Dartmouth, Robert “Bob” (Tara) Snow of Fort St John, BC; daughter Joyce Snow of Fort St John, BC; grandchildren Jade, Georgia, Aden, Emma, Avery and Jaylyn; sister Heather Hynes; stepsons William (Lexi) Corbett and their children, Easton and Indie of Victoria, BC, Chris (Chris) Corbett of Cambridge, Ont.; mother in law Marjorie Corbett as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her sisters Joan, Barbara and Beverly as well as her brother in laws Terance Hynes, David Brooks and Glen Englund as well as her father-in-law, Ivan Corbett.

As per Linda’s request there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
