Obituary of Alan Churchill Goodwin

Alan Churchill Goodwin, 73 of New Minas passed away on October 30, 2024, in Coldbrook. Born on June 24, 1951, Alan was the son of the late Claire and Cora (Bent) Goodwin.

Alan spent many years working in Summerside, PEI mapping and surveying, he was very proud of his work and enjoyed his career. During his free time, Alan took pleasure in his hobby of woodcarving especially carving birds, some of his favorites were ducks, songbirds, hawks and eagles. Alan was also a proud member of West Price Carvers Guild in Prince Edward Island. Alan enjoyed spending his winters in Jamaica and adored his time with the people he met there, Alan made many friends over the years and will truly be missed.

Alan is survived by his brother Robert of Red Deer Alberta.

In addition to his parents, Alan was predeceased by his brother, Graham, and infant brother, Arthur.
