Obituary of Helen Clyda Henderson
It is with a heavy heart that the family of Helen Clyda (Miles) Henderson announces her passing on November 9, 2024, in the Blomidon Court Shannex. Born February 24, 1936, in Wolfville, she was the daughter of the late Aurther and Winnie Miles.
Helen was a light in many people's lives. She was loved by all that met her. She believed firmly in family, friends and church. Helen was a kind and gentle soul; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Helen is survived by sisters Ruby and Barbara; brother Malcolm & Donn of Wolfville area. "My very special gift from God." Granddaughter Hanna Claire; Daughter, Pamela Lynn (Ron Gricken) Henderson; son Derek Henderson; Grandchildren Kiefer, Karly, Duncan, Lilly, Kaelen, Mylz, Braydynne, Fhalore, of Kingston.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her son Doran; sisters Shirley & Marguerite, Marion and brothers Roy, Earl & Paul.
There will be no visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place in the Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook on November 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm with the interment to follow in the Gaspereau Cemetery. No flowers at Helen's request. In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to the Alzheimers Society of Canada in honor of Helen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
