Obituary of John James Sherriffs
John James Sherriffs, 90 of Berwick, passed away 4 December 2024, peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital. Born May 28, 1934, in Lake George NS, John was the son of late John and Helen (Welton) Sherriffs.
John was a Loving father. grandfather and great father.
John Was a member of Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Dept until retirement and a honorary member of the Berwick & District Lion Club.
John is survived by his sons, David (Fran), Robert, Jeffrey; daughters Janice and Mary Anne Gould; Grandchildren Michael, Meaghan, Theresa, and Brenda; As well as his great grandchildren Abiggail, Rebecca and Nicolas.
In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by wife of 62 years, Dorothy; bothers Frank and George; sister Grace; son Alan and his son in law Bruce Gould.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday December 11, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS. A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday December 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, Coldbrook, NS.
