I was such good friends with Diane in High School. I was fairly new in Longmeadow and we hit it off. Stories I cannot tell you, but suffice to say we had fun listening to Jimi Hendrix and others while hanging in her cellar with a handful of friends being very cool! Doing what kids did in 1966 and those were the best times. I’d say we were both ahead of our time in some ways. I’m glad she had a wonderful life! See was a gem.

This is a very sad obituary to come across. I have known Claude and Diane for many a years. Diane was so beautiful inside and out. I remember her coming in the laundry years ago at the pines resort wanting to know if I could press a table cloth of hers as she was having a dinner party. At that time I think it was Gina and I that put it through the ironer and she was pleased with it. This was many, many years ago. She and Claude ate their lunch together everyday day either under the tree or in their private yard. My how times fly bye. Claude would come about 10'o clock every day to pick up his clean chefs jacket and Diane would be with him most of the time. Such a happy couple I always thought. I am a long time former pines employer. Condolences to Claude and all Diane's family at this difficult in your life. Rest in peace Diane. Cheryl (Gehue) Height
