Obituary of Aimee Marie Cameron
Aimee Marie Cameron, 51 of Davidson St. Forest Hill, NS passed away on December 20, 2024, while at home. Aimee is the beloved daughter of Michael and Yvonne Ward.
Aimee was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Bedford.
In addition to her parents, Aimee is survived by her grandmother, Audrey Wile; brothers, Jonathan Ward (Shalini Rampersad) and Justin (Jennie) Ward; two sons, Jeremy Ward (Louis-Philippe Marier) and Isaac Cameron (Lana Hanshaw and baby to be, Juniper).
Aimee was predeceased by her grandparents, Bernard and Thelma Ward, and Reginald Wile.
“We are not ready to say goodbye to our beloved, Aimee but we know she has “gone home” to be with her saviour.”
Aimee experienced very challenging health conditions for years, with grace, gentleness and humour. During the time when she lived in Halifax, she has many precious friends at the Full Gospel Church who prayerfully supported and encouraged her through many trials Aimee also had friends outside of her church family, who were great blessings, some of them like sisters.
Aimee’s Doctors provided the highest degree of care possible, some of them for many years. Our thanks to all of them and everyone who cared for and helped Aimee.
Please check back at a later date for service details. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
Epistles
Some are written on canvas,
the turn of each page another beautiful work of art.
Mountain vistas in oil,
Gardens full of flowers in pastels, placid lakes, cascading waterfalls.
Page after page of beautiful art.
Some are written on music paper
Some pages for full orchestra
Some pages for drums alone.
Each with its own unique tone and tempo.
Some are written on newsprint
A page of current affairs
A piece of great historical significance
Insights into daily life
On another page a little fluff
Each page as unique as the individual writing.
Some are written on plain paper
On each page there are many words
Every page different
Some pages tell of a joy filled childhood
Full of wonder and play
Lessons to learn
Pets to play with
Games and friends
There are many pages with “God’s keeping power”
imprinted on a banner over the whole page
Some pages tell of hard work and limited success.
Challenges and failures
Opportunities and gratitude that there was always enough
On some of these pages we find stamped there “God always cares” on other pages
“My provider”
Some pages have words like disappointment and sorrow and loss or calamity and adjustments or disaster. On these pages we often see in large generous brush strokes “God’s mercy” The Crimson brush strokes covering all and blotting out many of the painful words.
On other pages we find words like healing, remembrance, loss and grief, aging, limitations, disease, changes welcome and unwelcome. And embossed in big golden filigree letters “God’s grace is sufficient”, covers the entire page. Not hiding the words but illuminating highlighting elevating the words shining God’s love from each page Look what the lord has done!
