Dear Bent family:
I was so sorry to hear of Janechr(39)s passing. I have so many fond memories of growing up on Westwood Avenue with the Bents as our neighbours; trips to Murray River, making homemade ice cream, taping our trees to make maple syrup, taking me swimming at the Acadia pool. She was always so full of life and fun, interested in everything. She was a terrific lady and will be missed. Mom and myself offer our sympathy - our thoughts are with you.

We have happy memories of Janechr(39)s many talents, especially in the culinary field. Wonderful meals at the Bent house. I still use some of her recipes from cooking courses I took at the Wolfville School when we first arrived in town. It was a great way to meet people and learn some new cooking skills.
Our condolences to Forrest and the family.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth and Barry Yoell

Our prayers & thoughts are with you. Jane was a wonderful neighbour & friend. She was a Godsend to a new mother who had no family around to help. She provided me with a calm voice of reason.

To Forrest and family: We have just recently learned of Janechr(39)s passing and send our heartfelt sympathies. Her death has brought back many happy memories of enjoying her company whether at the university or in town. She was a vibrant lady whochr(39)s smile could brighten up the day. We knew she was quite ill in the recent past and she is now at peace. Again our deepest sympathies, Forrest and all of your family.

Dear Family of Jane Bent,
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope offered in the Bible for our loved ones at Psalm 37:29 which says: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We are assured that when the earth is cleansed of crime and violence, and it is restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as God originally purposed, our loved ones will return to life on earth in good health. (Isaiah 33:24)
John 5: 28, 29 tells us that "...The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ..."
In the Lordchr(39)s Prayer that most of us pray, we ask for Godchr(39)s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21: 4. It reads in part, "... He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.ââ?¬ÃÂ
I hope these words bring you a measure of solace in your time of loss.
You may also find comfort in the message contained in the pamphlet ââ?¬Ã
?When Someone you Love Dies.âàI would be glad to send it to you free of charge or obligation.
Sincerely,
Sandra Sullivan

Mark and I were very sad to read of Janechr(39)s death.
The dinner group we were all part of so many years ago really helped us to settle into the community. We enjoyed getting to know both of you.
Please accept our condolences at this very sad time.

Dear Forrest
I am sorry to hear of Janechr(39)s death. I am reminded of two things in particular. The first was all of us making ice cream on the front lawn of Horton Hall. I thought it was very exotic that Aunt Jane knew the recipe and that salt magically made ice colder. I bet I was 6 or 7. The second was shortly after that when she just packed up all the kids, and you, to set off for Pakistan on sabbatical. I remember thinking that was pretty amazing and brave. Seems to me you went by boat and there was an infant involved.
Yes, Jane was intrepid and smart and kind, and she had a great laugh!
I will be away at the time of her service, otherwise I would be there. It would give me pleasure to be remembered to family and friends.

To Garth and Family,
Garth. . . you may not remember me from many years ago but you and I went through Horton High School together. I remember you bringing peanut butter and honey sandwiches that your Mom made for you. I always thought you must have had the most amazing mother ... because she made such a wonderful sandwich!
My thoughts are with you at this time.
Warm regards,
June Davidson
