Linda and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Ivan, I wish that I could be there today, but unfortunately; I am not able to. Please know my thoughts are with you. Ivanchr(39)s smiles and laughter will forever be in my heart.

Dear Family of L. Ivan Pearle,
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope offered in the Bible for our loved ones at Psalm 37:29 which says: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We are assured that when the earth is cleansed of wickedness, and it is restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as God originally purposed, our loved ones will return to life on earth in good health. (Isaiah 33:24)
John 5: 28, 29 tells us that "...The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ..."
In the Lordchr(39)s Prayer that most of us pray, we ask for Godchr(39)s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21: 4. It reads in part, "... He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.ââ?¬ÃÂ
I hope these words bring you a measure of solace in your time of loss.

It is with deep regret and sorrow that we learned about Ivan finally joining the Advance Party after a valiant fight. Although the RCASC has been out of the Order of Battle for 43 years, our Associations and our relationships have remained strong. Ivan was a stellar and well respected member of the RCASC who had a legion of great friends and admirers who share the sorrow with Ivanchr(39)s family. He was so kind to so many. I met Ivan in CFB Gagetown in 1969 and soon became friends, I used to catch a drive with him on the weekends back to the valley to see my wife to be. my Mom always had some butter tarts for our return trip back to Gagetown he loved the the butter tarts. I lost touch with Ivan when i got posted back to Germany in in the late fall of 1970. My Thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of saddness.
