Please accept my belated condolences on the passing of Blake. He was a great man who did a lot for his community. Growing up across the road we often played in his yard with Greg and Micheal (grand kids) and hechr(39)d give out ice cream to all of us. Hechr(39)d use his snowblower to clear the pond in the winter for hockey. He always waved when he drove by the house. He was never too busy to talk to whoever needed his time. He will be missed.

I remember Mr. Salsman; our Somerset school janitor. He was a neighbour to my grandparents, Millie & Perley Fredericks, Somerset and my family, too, Art & Norma Fredericks just lived a short distance up the road from his home. Sympathy to his family.

So sorry that Blake is not with us anymore. Bryan is so going to miss the garden time with Blake,the planning, the planting and the comparing of gardens and the wave first thing in the mornings across the field. The cabbage to grow seeds are in the ground and were put in on the day Blake suggested they should be. There are just too many times to mention when Bryan will be missing and thinking of his friend. With sincere sympathy to the family of Blake Salsman. I have known Blake for a few years and would visit him on my trips to the Valley. I got to know Blake when he was raising the rabbits and would buy from him for my rabbit pie. I enjoyed talking to him and listening to his hunting and fishing stories, he was a great guy and will be missed.

My deepest condolences. I remember when my grandfather(Cliff) passed away, I told Blake that as long as he was around that my grandfather would be around. They looked so much alike. He is now with his parents, brothers and sister hopefully fishing and trapping with them. He will be sadly missed.
