Obituary of John Samuel Amero

AMERO, John Samuel - 64, of Digby; passed away on Thursday August 25, 2011 in the Digby General Hospital, Digby. Born in Digby; he was the son of Beatrice (Comeau) and the late Fred Amero. John worked most of his life as a Stationary Engineer for CFB Cornwallis. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. John loved the outdoors, and motorcycles and he also had a special interest in eagles and dragons. John will be missed by his son Robert (Deanna Robicheau), Digby; daughter Crystal (Doug) Handspiker, Cornwallis; brother Floydd (Young Ja), Massachusetts; sister Susan (Garry) Wamboldt, Bear River; grandchildren Mark Milbury, Brandi Amero, Alexzander Amero, Patrick Amero, Alyssa Thibault; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a private family burial held at a later date. Donations in John?¢s memory may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous Digby County or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
