Viner, Kathleen Gertrude - 81, passed away peacefully on Friday September 23, 2011 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Kentville she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edith (King) Jackson. Kathleen worked for the Adult Residential Centre in Bridgetown for 30 years. She loved knitting, and driving her car. She enjoyed spending time outside and taking care of her red roses and hollyhocks. One of Kathleen?¢s favorite things to do was cooking family diners and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for being a very strong willed woman who would fight for anything she believed in. Kathleen loved each and every one of her children and even in her final moments stated that to her daughters. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Stanley Jr. - Bubì³ (Wanda), Waterville; David (Debra), Bridgetown; Richard (Colleen), Cole Harbor; daughters Deborah Viner, Greenwood; Donna (Gerry Young) Viner, Phinney?¢s Cove; Catherine (Wayne) Viner, Edmonton; Jeanna Ogilvie, Berwick; Shelley Viner, Bridgetown; Joanne Viner, Berwick; son in law Dwayne Pichette, Wetaskiwin; brothers Harry Jackson, Kentville; Laurie - Boì³ Jackson, Kentville; grandchildren Miguel, Nicholas, Hayden, Jason, Devin, Courtney, Fabian, Marlow, Joey, Michelle, Sasha, Tabitha, Tripp and Darnell. Kelsey; great grandchildren Tatiana, Thoren, Tanisha, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Stanley; daughter Christine Viner, brothers Frank and Donnie; and sisters Ruth and Rachel. She will be missed forever by her dear friend Myrtle D. Lewis. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 25, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home Chapel, Berwick. There will be no service. Private burial will take place at a later date. Family would like to extend a special thank you to Michelle Jensen.
