I was honored to have served with Bill in the early 80chr(39)s in Shearwater. We became good friends while working at the control tower and shared common interests. He had preceded me on a tour of Alert so he guided me through what to expect on my tour which was extremely helpful . Bill was a person I gladly would call a friend and which I missed when my career caused me to leave the maritimes

Dear Karen, please accept my condolences. Bill was a great man and his presence and calmness at all times and situations were an attribute which even strangers noted. He was quick with a smile and sober in thought. Truly a person to be respected and remembered. You know that anything and everything that our family has to offer is yours.

Hi Karen:
So sorry to hear of Billchr(39)s passing. I am behind in reading my newspaper as my sister and I have been busy cleaning out our auntchr(39)s apartment in Bridgewater. She has moved to an assisted-living apartment. As you will appreciate, we have a lot of "stuff" to dispose of. I was just thinking about Bill yesterday as I can remember when he gave me a lot of preserve jars when he was cleaning out an auntchr(39)s place in Bridgewater. I picked up the paper yesterday and read it, a few daychr(39)s late, and, lo and behold, I learned of his death. Uncanny.
Again, my thoughts are with you. If ever you are in Halifax and in need of a coffee and chat, give me a call and perhaps we can meet somewhere. I live off of Larry Uteck Blvd. in Halifax. My phone number is 445-9333.
P.S. Are you the same Karen Gordon that was in Joan Pugsleychr(39)s class at Halifax West in 1962?
