Kelly, my thoughts were with you last week, but I had to wait to send this. I watched the truck tribute to Brian and knew that Victor would have driven in that for him. We hope they are still up there somewhere trucking. Thanks for the card and the hug that you sent my way. I send hugs straight back.

I will never forget when I came home for Grammiechr(39)s Birthday the day Brian gave up watching the car races to take me on a very long ski doo ride thru the woods. It was one of the most beautiful sites Ichr(39)ve ever seen with so much snow on the trees. Growing up on Florida I forgot how beautiful the snow is! It was the year Dale Ernhart got in an accident & passed away... There is no doubt in my mind that Brian would much rather have stayed home & watched the races but he did the "family" thing & took me!! RIP Brian...I will never forget that day. Thank you!!! You will be missed by many. <3<3<3

The sudden loss of a family member, especially a son, grandson, brother, husband and uncle leaves a void that can never be filled. Brian always had that "million dollar smile" on his face whenever we met him. His enjoyment of life was evident in the love he had for family, friends, his many activities plus his pride for his Peterbilt and trucking company was second to none. Whenever Joan and I travelled in the U.S., Brian always provided us with detailed guidelines so we could make the most of our trip. He always said if we filled the van, he could make "room" in his rig.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Brianchr(39)s family and family of friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. May God watch over you in these difficult days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,now and always.

I really do not remember many years without Brian in my life. Driving in his driveway yesterday...I looked around and fondly remembered all of us moving Brian in there and recalled just how estatic he was to finally be getting into his newly built "rancher". Brian always had the door open, with a huge, welcoming smile for his friends and family. It became a place for many kitchen gatherings, pool parties, quiet Sunday afternoon BBQchr(39)s...even a couple more "Toad Fests"....and ultimately a wonderful home for himself, Kelly and the boys. Brian had such a warm and loving heart...and enjoyed sharing everything he had with his family and friends... and that included his vast knowledge of so many things. Brian could get you from Berwick to Alabama on any back road there was! People like Brian do not come into your life very often. We will miss you, Brian...you have been taken far too soon.
Sending all my love and prayers to Kelly and her boys, Allen, Joan, Bob, Joan Sr., and the entire Balcom family.

Brian was the happiest guy I knew, always had a smile and a story for you. He was a great man .It was truly an honor to have him as a neighbor ,and consider him as a friend.I always enjoyed a morning visit especially in the winter when he would always ask when I was going to buy a real snowmobile and get a yamaha...
Nothing around Berwick will be the same without him, especially snowmobiling ,He will be greatly missed.
