Morgan, Edward Thomas - age 79 years of Kingston, passed away at home July 22, 2014. Ed was born in Bridgewater to the late Cecil and Elva Morgan.
Ed attended Bridgewater High School, Acadia University and UNB. He was a teacher at West Kings High School for thirty years. He was an active coach and volunteer with many sports and activities at the high school and within the community.
He is survived by his wife Elinor; sons Gary (Kathy) of Hammonds Plains, John of Toronto, Eric (Muriel) of Berwick; daughter Janet (Drew) of Ottawa; brother Paul (Joan) of Bridgewater; sister Betty Mailman of Lunenburg; grandchildren Nathan, Colin, Sarah, Elizabeth, Andrew and Samantha and great grandchild William.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
His family would like to invite you to an informal gathering of Ed's friends and family on Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 7-9 pm at the Kingston United Church, Main Street Kingston. No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VON or Mid Valley Palliative Care.
