Mr. Stuchbery was a wonderful person. He and his wife Sylvia were clients of ours and we enjoyed their stories about their family and life together when they would come into the clinic. They both were very kind, considerate and compassionate people and will be missed very much. My heart goes out to his family, friends and to whoever else this wonderful man and his wife touched with their kindness. My sincerest condolences.

I fondly remember Ian as vicar of St Mary-at-Latton in Harlow, England during the late 1960's; and not only Ian, but also Sylvia and their children Alison, Mike and Nick.
Every year, Sylvia would send my family the 'round-robin' newsletter, and we would read with interest all that each of the family were doing. I hold a special place in my heart for you all.
A candle is lit at St Mary-at-Latton for Ian.
Ian was my first priest, and I give thanks to God for that gift. May Ian, with Sylvia, rest in peace and rise in glory.

I met Ian at Christ Church Cathederal in the early seventies and then he came to St. PHilip,s, Montreal West.
We were thrilled! Ian was a gifted individual and priest.
He had the ability to celebrate and make each person feel that Ian was speaking to them. He introduced us to social justice, and we have tried to remain true to that throughout our marriage. Ian married us 40 years ago at St. Philip's. He and Sylvia provided a model of teamwork and devotion to their calling as leaders in so many Christian communities. They are now together in the New Life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Alison, Michael, and Nick. With love from Glen and Janet Allingham, Ottawa.

We have known Ian & Sylvia since the '70s in Montreal. We sang with him in The Cathedral Singers, he married us at St. Philips and Ian preached at John's induction as rector at Good Shepherd. They even took me (before John) around England & took our choir to The Silver Swan Pub. We have so many lovely memories of our times together. Please accept our sympathies and those of everyone who loved them
RIP. Kathy & John

Dear Michael et al, I sang in the choir at St. Philips and my brother Scott was a soprano. Also knew your parents for many years at St Paul's Charlottetown where they sometimes came to my summer recitals. My father passed away in December so I understand to some extent your grief at this time. With my sincere condolences, Alan
