Condolences to Marthas family, loved ones and community, her loss will be felt deeply as Martha worked tirelessly, for many causes and she knew how to enjoy life. Had the pleasure to meet Martha at the Red Door, which she was a great supporter of Youth and gave it her all to eliminate Bullying in Schools. Im so delighted she was honoured for her community work. A truly wonderful caring woman, one of a kind. Rest in Peace Martha, your laughter lit up many lives.

Martha was such a guiding light and wonderful woman who gave so much to us personally a well as to both Two Planks and a Passion Theatre and the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts. I will always remember her wonderful hot temper and quick laugh, always in service of what she fiercely supported and felt. She was an incredible woman. I have taken to signing off my own letters with what she said to me so often (along with keep your chin up) - ever onward. We wish your family the very best and I hope a lot of laughter remembering her indomitable spirit.

I met Martha as a member of the Shiretown Singers in 1994.
We met as she noticed my VGH nursing ring! We became bonded at that moment!
We would see each other intermittently over the years and we reminisced about the VGH and how she lost her ring, only to replace hers by buying one at Herbins!
My son Kory was always treated to a handful of change from Marthas purse to buy himself a treat! Kory will be 24 this December and to this day always remembered Martha.
Please know she will always have a warm place in our hearts!
So sorry for your precious loss!
