Obituary of William Elder Webber

WEBBER, WILLIAM "BILLY" ELDER Age 53, Chester Basin It is with grieving hearts that we announce our brother’s passing at the SSRH on January 30th. He was the son of the late Mervin and Bernice Webber. He was predeceased by his brother, Bruce. Surviving are siblings Colleen Parker, Allen (Cathy), Shawn, and Shannon, all of Chester Basin; plus many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Billy loved music, playing the guitar and harmonica. He played with local bands, including the Oak Island Mysteries. Billy was a prolific storyteller. Billy adored all of the children in his life, and had cherished memories of spending time with them. He was a generous and loyal friend. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the New Hope Pentecostal Church in Western Shore. Reception following at Chester Basin Legion.
