My wife and I knew Brenda and Bill through the Blomidon Naturalists Society which both were part of since the beginnings in 1974. Brenda enjoyed birding and contributed to most of the bird counts. I produced the BNS Newsletter for many years in the 70's and 80's and Brenda helped with its distribution and indexing many of the articles. When I was on the board, we met at her home and she made us comfortable and served cake and refreshments after. She was always friendly, pleasant and a joy to talk with. The world is poorer now that she is gone.
