It was with sadness to read of Verna's passing. She was the "next door" neighbour to my Mother at Kings Riverside Court in Kentville for several years until Mother moved to another residence in the summer of 2015. We all so enjoyed our own chats with Verna and some outings from time to time. Her gentle quiet ways and her friendship were much treasured by Mom; they had many interests and background in common, and their strolls in the corridors, shared mealtimes and open doors to each other made for a closeness that we would like to think enhanced both their lives. It was a pleasure to have known her; our condolences now to the family in her passing.
