Always my favourite uncle, Gerry knew how to make me (and everyone around us) belly-laugh with his endless stories and life experiences. Growing up in Brantford and spending time with him and my late aunt Effie, my fondness for Gerry only grew when he had the opportunity to visit us whenever he returned from his beloved Old Barns in Nova Scotia. Gerry will be sadly missed. Our sincerest condolences to Karen and Brian for their loss. It's times like this that memories become most precious.

Hi Karen - so sorry to hear of Gerry passing. He was always a favourite cousin although we had lost touch I have very fond memories of Effie and Gerry when they used to visit my parents - Gord and Nellie Dwyer in Truro. Also remember the time, many years ago, when they took me to the National Exhibition in Toronto! Sorry again.

I am so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. I have fond memories of what a good sense of humour Gerry had and had great visits with him when my parents would go and visit. ( merle and Marguerite McNutt) . The last time I saw Gerry was at sobeys and he was so happy I went up to him and told him who I was and what a great chat we had.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Saddened to hear about Gerry's passing. Gerry and Effy were good friends of my parents Charlie & Zeta Keddy for years. Dad being from Nova Scotia and mechanically inclined also, Gerry and Dad had a lot in common and always had something to talk or joke about. I remember going to visit them often with my folks and they were really nice people. Gerry was especially funny and always smiling and laughing. He and Dad were quite a pair when they got together. I hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories Gerry left with you to cherish.
