The Arnold Family, formerly of Drummond Street, Granby, Qc , extend their heartfelt sympathies to all members of the John and Joan Bonnett Family. Hélène, the youngest of the Arnolds, was friends with Beverly and Barbara, and often visited their home just across the street from our place. A family we never forgot for their friendship and kindness. Joan is now reunited with John. God bless you all in your time of grief.

My thoughts and prayers for all the Bonnetts at this time.....so many happy memories of your Mom in Granby she was such a close friend of my Mom......skiing at The Glen and always laughter. I remember when my parents moved to Cambridge and invited your parents (as a joke) to play golf one week and they showed up two days later......the start of the McAuliffe, Bonnett Open that was an annual event for over 20 years.

Erica,
Our condolences...
The role of our grandparents should never be underestimated .The older I become, the more I realize how many teachings and experiences I carry around that reflect the deep ,deep love I held for my grandparents. Even the silly things like being taught to drive, to change the oil in Gramp's car ,to strip and stain furniture, to sing ,to stand up straight -all precious memories ... cherished forever.
As a nurse, you take care of strangers ; take care of you.
Condolences to you and your family.

Dear Bev, Barbara and David,
I was so sad to learn of your dear mom's passing. My memories of her go back so many years - even to when you lived on Dufferin! She was a great Brownie leader who certainly kept us on track. And I think my most vivid recollections are of her at Granby United - a dedicated member, always working with a smile!
My most heartfelt sympathy is extended to you, and all members of the family. May God comfort you, and surround you with love.

Joan was a lovely person, and a very kind and loyal friend to our mother Jean DeWolfe. They both lived at Wickwire Place and enjoyed many outings together, with Joan at the wheel. When my mother’s poor health required a move to a higher care facility, Joan was there, almost on a daily basis, to offer her companionship and perhaps a game of cards. I will always remember her unwavering dedication to this friendship. Our sympathy to your family in the loss of such a special lady. Emily and family

So sorry to hear of Joan's death. I always enjoyed our conversations at Wickwire Place when I came for the Bookmobile. We both loved Louise Penny's novels and I would sometimes bring her newsletters or other information to share with Joan. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time as you miss this special lady.

Derek and I are so sad to hear about Joan's passing. We both have many fond memories of her kindness and wonderful spirit. Derek remembers how she always sent Blue back to boarding school with lots of great treats, squares and cookies, for David to share with the boys. I remember her laugh, her wonderful smile and the way she used to ski like she was one with the hill. She had a grace that was lovely to watch as she carved her way down the mountain. She also taught me many skills that allowed me to earn badges in my Girl Guide years! In fact, I still have them~both the skills and the badges!
We are saddened to hear this news and want to share our condolences with all the family.
Much love,
Deb and Derek Sewell
